Karine Kålsås from the Research Council of Norway (RCN) gave a brief presentation at the Global Health Norway Conference in Oslo, 10 April.
Kålsås is one of the RCN Advisors responsible for administering the RCN Global Health and Vaccination Research (GLOBVAC) programme. Begun in 2006, the programme was renewed for a second period that will end in 2020. A total of 58 project applications were received for the recent (February) GLOBVAC funding call. The next and final GLOBVAC conference will take place in 2020. Read more on the programme web pages.
Kålsås outlined a number of future funding possibilities for Norwegian global health researchers.
